Well, there is everything covered but unfortunately I didn't find any downloadable resetter for Canon. However, I found one for my Canon Printer model at different place. I tested this Canon printer resetter on my MP237 model and it worked like a charm. Have one friend who has used some Epson resetters from that website and he said that most of them are valid.

Press Setup.
Press the arrow buttons until you navigate to Device settings and then press OK.
Press the arrow buttons until you navigate to Reset setting and then press OK.
Press the arrow buttons until you navigate to Reset all and then press OK.
Select Yes.
Press OK. Your device is now reset.

Follow the steps described below to reset your printer: 1) Switch off your printer. 2) For 3 seconds, press and hold the STOP button. 3) Then press and hold the ON and leave STOP button. 4) Press the STOP button 5 times while holding the ON button. 5)All of the buttons should be released. 6) The LCD display should be turned on and blank.
